What Does It Mean to Dream About a House?
The house in a dream is often you: its rooms stand for different parts of your mind and your life. The state of the house shows how you feel about yourself right now.
In tradition
In traditional dream lore, a house is linked to family, peace and livelihood. A spacious, bright house is read as abundance; a ruined one as trouble at home.
Psychological view
Jung read the many-storeyed house in one of his own dreams as the layers of the psyche: the upper floors as consciousness, the cellar as the unconscious. Finding a room you never knew about can mean discovering a new side of yourself or an unused potential.
Spiritual view
The shelter of your soul; the place where you feel safe inside.

Ask yourself
Which room of the house were you in most? Which part of your life does that room resemble?
